The Bakery

Cherry walked around the Bakery, with her bread basket. She placed the new breads out, replacing the old, stale ones. She smiled at everyone who passed or came in.
Sparrow watched his sister from behind the counter. He smiled at her when she turned around. He was determined to have a good day since he didnt want to be fighting tomorrow, on their birthday.

Eve walks in hoping for some cheap bread. She takes out from her ripped bag few coins. She walks over to the counter. "What do you have for this much?"

Cherry noticed the girl and walked over to the counter. "How much do you need?" She asked.
Sparrow blinked. Hadnt he almost said the same thing? He wasnt sure.

Eve says, "I need enough to live. Thats all."

"Well thats worth about.... dads selling cheap today so hmm one loaf per coin?" Sparrow offered.
"Thatd be plenty, right?"

Eve shrugs. "That would be 3 loafs of bread please." She hides her eyes with her brown curly hair and turns around.

Sparrow nodded. "Get three fresh loaves sis." He said.
Cherry nodded and disappeared into the back. She came back with three carefully wrapped, warm loaves of bread in a brandnew basket. She put the basket on the counter.

Eve nods with her hair still covering her eyes. She gives them her money but when she turns around a gust of wind blow her hair out of her face. Eve stands there frightened with her eyes closed.

"Hey open your eyes. We wont judge. If you want we can Rain. She has all the reason to want to hide her eyes. Shes Graced. With baking. But her eyes are so pretty. I wanna see your eyes." Sparrow said.
Cherry punched her brothers arm. "Dont flirt. Your going to scare the poor girl." She said. Then she added, "Your Graced, arent you. Dont worry. We dont judge."

Eve slowly opens her colored eyes. One of them twinkled light delicate blue, showing her soft side, but the other one was a dark blue, which opened up her serious, fighting side.

"Your eyes are beautiful. Theres no need to be ashamed of them." Cherry said. "Hey do you have a job? Were looking for help here..." she added.
Sparrow nodded. "Workers get good pay and somtimes, free bread." He said.

Eve nods. "I am good with water. Don't know much about baking."

"You can have Cherrys job. Thats laying out the bread. She has two jobs actually." Sparrow said.
Cherry nodded. "So your Grace is water? Very cool." she said, changing the subject.

Eve nods not wanting to speak.

Sparrow gave her a smile. "Im Sparrow. This is Cherry. So do you wanna work here? .all you gotta do is lay the bread out where it belongs and you may sometimes collect the cash from the costumers." He said.
Cherry rolled her eyes. That was her brother. Always pushing.

Eve says carefully. "Eve. Thats my name. And yes I would like to work here."

"Pleased to met you Eve. Now my brother will teach you his job. Its simple enough. Im gonna go tell dad and Rain we have a new worker. Ill back later to show you my job." Cherry said and disappeared into the back.
Sparow motioned for Eve to join him behind the counter.

Eve walks over there. She trips over a bucket of water and goes flying.

Sparrow moved quickly and caught her. "You okay?" He asked.

Eve blushes. "Fine." She moves her hand over the spill of the water and the fluid follows her movements. She drags her fingers over to the fallen bucket and the liquid plops itself in there.

"Hey that was cool!" Sparrow said. His eyes were wide with amazement.

Eve shrugs. "It doesn't matter."

Ooc: yush pwease!

Bic: Sparrow shook his head in disbelief. "You have an amazing Grace. It matters. Its a part of you, so it matters." He said.

ooc: any quote or anything? no stickers? do you want me to do it like in my siggy for eve? if so i need two pictures for the back ground.

Eve stares at him. "There are some people who, if I showed that to them, they would use me. Use me for their own purpose. A grace is not a gift, but a curse."

Ooc: look up Jennsen Rahl. There are bunches of pix of her.
Bic: Sparrow sighed. "Well we wont use you. Its not right." He said.
